Each lamp base reveals the stone’s mineral presence in a form designed for interior spaces. Standing between architectural heritage and contemporary creation, every piece asserts a sober, sculptural, and enduring balance.

Where does the stone used come from?

Chœur de Pierres lighting fixtures are crafted from a unique limestone. It is extracted from the La Croix-Huyart quarry, located in Bonneuil-en-Valois in the Oise region of France.

This very same stone is contributing to the reconstruction of the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral.

Each piece is then shaped in the Les Pierres de Paris workshop in Saint-Pierre-Aigle, in the Aisne region. Finally, the lighting fixture is assembled by Chœur de Pierres in the Oise region.

Is each piece unique?

Yes. Since stone is a natural material, each piece displays its own distinct nuances, textures, and subtle imperfections.

These variations bear witness to the mineral origin of the material and its geological evolution over the centuries. As such, they contribute to the singular character of each lighting fixture.

Are the models numbered?

Yes. Each model is released in a limited and numbered edition of 96 pieces.

The name of the model as well as its edition number are featured on the certificate of authenticity that accompanies the piece.

Is a certificate of authenticity included?

Yes. Every lighting fixture comes with a certificate of authenticity. This document is jointly signed by Chœur de Pierres and the Les Pierres de Paris workshop, where the stone is shaped.

This certificate certifies the origin of the stone used as well as the piece's edition number.
